I work as an Assistant Producer on the NPR One editorial team. Previously, I was an intern on LAist’s engagement team, where I helped launch the newsletter and podcast How To LA. I have a Master’s in Journalism specializing in media innovation and content strategy from the Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University. I was awarded the Harrington Award for Interactive Storytelling for journalistic promise and high scholastic achievement.

I’m from Mumbai, India. Before coming to Chicago for graduate school, I worked in content marketing at ZebPay, India’s first cryptocurrency exchange. I introduced and curated a weekly newsletter that reached 1.9 million readers globally.

I also worked in the digital department of Verve Magazine, India’s first homegrown lifestyle magazine for women. Besides writing for its print and digital editions, I managed the magazine’s Twitter account and curated a newsletter for the bi-monthly print issue launches.

In 2018, I graduated at the top of my class with a BA in English Literature from St. Xavier’s College, Mumbai, and went on to study international relations, journalism and French at Sciences Po in Paris for a year. I speak very good French in a very Indian accent.
